Judgement Debt Commission Resumes Today.
The Commission of Inquiry established by President Mahama to enquire into Judgment Debt Payments and other related matters will resume public sittings on Tuesday after postponing from yesterday.
Representatives from the Auditor General’s Department, Solicitor General’s Department, Controller & Accountant General’s Department, Lands Commission and Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning who have earlier appeared before the Commission are expected to submit additional information to the Commission.
At the last sitting the Lands Commission failed to submit relevant documents to the Commission due to deficiencies in its archival system.
Most of the institutions that have appeared before the commission so far, have however failed to provide the requisite documentation, per the demands of the Commission.
The Commission, headed by Justice Apau however says the situation will not stall its works.
