Leader of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, Rev. Ebenezer Opambour Adarkwah Yiadom has warned Ebola patients not to come to his church for ‘healing and deliverance’ because he is not ready for them.

He revealed this during a live service broadcast on Metro TV last Saturday.

“Wherever you are in Ghana, come for your healing and deliverance. Whatever burden you have been laden with, come here, God will deliver you through me but if you have Ebola, don’t come because we are not yet ready for you,” he warned.

Rev. Opambour who is also known as ‘Prophet-One’ wore gloves as a means of protection throughout his live service broadcast.

Currently, there is no reported case of Ebola in Ghana.

Ebola is one of the most deadly viral diseases known. Up to 90% of people who contract the virus die. The current outbreak started in Guinea and has spread to other West African countries like Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal and Sierra Leone. Currently, there are about 3,967 cases with 2,105 deaths.

Ebola is passed through close contact with bodily fluids, such as blood, saliva and sweat, of an infected person or animal. The disease can be transmitted through sex as well.
