Alhaji Grusah says, Avram Grant will solve Ghana’s coaching problems
Founder and Bank Roller of Kumasi-based King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grusah is highly optimistic that the appointment of Israeli tactician, Avram Grant for the Black Stars coaching job will surely solve Ghana’s coaching problems.
The former Chelsea and Portsmouth coach will be unveiled on Thursday, 4th December 2014 at the FA Head Quarters in Accra after he was confirmed the new head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana in a press conference last Thursday.
However, Alhaji Grusah, seems to side with the FA for the appointment of Avram Grant as his preference has been on foreign trainers.
The veteran football administrator thinks that Grant has the needed qualities to make a good case for himself as he gets ready to take Ghana’s coaching job.
“If Ghana had appointed a coach in the caliber of Avram Grant as the Technical Director prior to the start of the 2014 World Cup, we wouldn’t have encountered the difficulties we had in Brazil,” he said.
“He is a very good coach with track record, so I believe he can succeed as the coach of the Black Stars,” Alhaji Grusah told Kumasi based Fox FM.
Avram Grant’s immediate task is to prepare the Black Stars team for next year’s Afcon tourney.
