 Ghana starting XI against Algeria as Gyan returns to lead Ghana

Head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Avram Grant has made two changes to his starting XI that lost against Senegal in Group C opening game of the ongoing AFCON tourney in Equatorial Guinea.

Defender Awal Mohammed and midfielder Rabiu Mohammed have been dropped to the bench.

The Black Stars will take on Group C leaders Algeria later in the day as the return of the captain of the side, Asamoah Gyan into the starting XI will boost the confidence level of the team.

The Stars are searching for their first win in the ongoing championship after losing to Senegal by 2 goals to 1 on Monday January 19.

Gyan was ruled out of the Group C opening game against Senegal due to malaria and was forced to sit out of the Black Stars final training ahead of the game.
