Blatter congratulates Kwesi Nyantakyi on re-election as CAF’s Executive Committee.
FIFA President, Sepp Blatter has congratulated the Ghana Football Association President, Kwasi Nyantakyi over his re-election as CAF’s Executive Committee.
The Ghana FA capo got re-elected last Wednesday during CAF’s General Assembly in Cairo after he went unopposed on the ticket of West Zone B.
Aftermath of Nyantakyi’s re-election, the President of the World’s Football Governing body, Sepp Blatter has congratulated him for his re-election for another four year term which ends in 2019.
“As FIFA President and on behalf of the worldwide football family, I would like to congratulate you on your re-election to the CAF Executive Committee for the period 2015 – 2019, ” Blatter wrote in the letter to Nyantakyi on Thursday.
“This title represents a great honour for you and a clear sign of confidence from the African Football community in your abilities, skills and experience.
He added: “I would also like to take the opportunity to thank you for the commitment and passion you have shown in serving the African and world football community,” Blatter said.
“Once again, please accept my sincere congratulations and very best wishes for every success and much satisfaction in your new term of office.”
