Ghana, Mali shared the spoils in an international friendly
The Black Stars of Ghana had to settle for a 1-1 pulsating draw game against Mali in an international friendly game on Tuesday at the Stade Sébastien Charléty in Paris, France.
Ghana prior to the game had lost 2-1 to Senegal which the coach of the side, Avram Grant made six changes to his starting XI in the Tuesday’s game.
The first half was very tough for both sides which saw no goals but the Ghanaian side look smarter and better than the Malian side.
The Black Stars came to the second half with a different tactical approach as Agyemang Badu struck the first goal in the 57th minute after an assist from Richmond Boakye-Yiadom.
The Malians however never got relaxed as they fought very hard searching for the equalizer which they did in the 71st minute mark through Bakary Sakho penalty.
The Black Stars gathered their momentum looking for the winning goal but the strikers missed those chances they had as the game ended 1-1.
