Ghana’s Muntari set to quit AC Milan
The signs are boldly written on the wall as Ghana international, Sulley Munatri is set to quit AC Milan at the end of the current season.
The Ghanaian midfielder for the past weeks at Milan has not been getting playing time which the former Udinese man is not taken it likely. However ahead of AC Milan weekend serie A game, the frustrated Ghanaian asked his coach not to include him in the squad.
“He asked not to be added to the squad, because he knows he’s not in Milan’s plans for next season. Milan said OK,”
Muntari’s agent Federico Pastorello posted on Twitter.
But the coach of the side, Filipo Inzaghi initially said he – “preferred not to call Muntari so that he can continue training at Milanello.”
Muntari signed an improved contract to 2016 but it’s likely he will terminate it by mutual consent.
