Ghana’s Christian Atsu joins AFC Bournemouth on a season loan
Ghana international, Christian Atsu has officially joined newly promoted premier league side, AFC Bournemouth on a season from Chelsea.
Since Christian Atsu move from Porto to Chelsea in the 2013 league season , he is yet to make a mark at the London based club and he has been on loan with clubs like Vitesse Arhem and Everton.
But after his loan spell with Everton, the newly promoted premier league side, AFC Bournemouth in their quest of doing well in the English premier league next season has taken Ghana’s Christian Atsu on a season loan.
However, the manager of AFC Bournemouth Eddie Howe said: “I think he is a player, although he is a younger player, he is a player with outstanding experience when you look at his career he has had,” he told Cherries Player.
“He has had a lot thrown at him – Porto, Vitesse, Chelsea, on the international stage – and he’s done very well on the international stage as well.
“We are loaning a player of huge potential, again we had to fight off several other Premier League clubs to get him, so we are very, very pleased.
“I think he will bring pace and ability to beat a man one-v-one which is very important in the Premier League, so for all those reasons I think he is a great signing for us.”
