Ghana beat Congo Brazzaville in warm up friendly
Ahead of Ghana’s Afcon Group H qualifying game against Rwanda on Saturday, the Black Stars beat Congo Brazzaville 3-2 in a warm up friendly on Tuesday.
The Black Stars took a two-zero lead at half time with goals from Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Babele’s own goal.
But in the second half, Claude Le Roy’s side gave the four time Africa champions a good run for their money as they leveled at 2-2 but second half substitute Jordan Ayew restored Ghana’s lead after he connected home the winning goal in injury time from Afriyie Acquah’s pass.
The Black Stars of Ghana will now leave to Kigali where they will face Rwanda on Saturday in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group H qualifier.
