Ghana’s Issah Yakubu Joins Lebanese top-flight side Al Nabi Shayth
Ghana’s midfeilder, Issah Yakubu has signed a two year deal with Lebanese top-flight side Al Nabi Shayth, the club confirmed on Monday.
Issah Yakubu joined the Al Nabi based club as a free agent after ending his loan spell at Ghanaian premier league side Inter Allies were he helped the Eleven is To One side to finish the season at the 7th position.
The 25 year old midfeilder before moving to Lebanon was under the scouting heels of host of Ghanaian premier league sides which include, Hearts of Oak and Ashanti Gold but he opted to ply his trade in the Middle East.
Issah Yakubu after completing his deal at Al Nabi Shayth said: “I have played in Ghana in most of my footballing career and signing for Al Nabi Shayth is a big step for me and it will be an opportunity for me to showcase my talent in the Middle East and I believe I have what it takes to make it happen.
“My immediate aim is to help my new club achieve its season target which is finishing the season in the top four and I strongly believe it will come to past at the end of the season,” Yakubu said.
