Eddie Ansah resigns as Hearts of Oak’s goalkeepers trainer
Hearts of Oak goalkeepers’ trainer, Eddie Ansah has officially resigned from his post, the club’s administrative manager, Hackman Aidoo confirms his departure.
During latter part of last season, the former national goalie was appointed the stop-gap coach of the club following the departure of then the head coach Herbert Addo.
However, he ended his stop-gap duties at the Accra based giants at the end of the 2014/15 league season as the club managed to beat the drop zone by placing 13th position on the log sheet.
And administrative manager of the club, Hackman Aidoo has confirmed that Eddie Ansah has officially resigned from his position in the club because he decided to apply for the vacant position of the club.
“Eddie Ansah has resigned from his position as the goalkeepers’ trainer, it was a decision solely taken by the coach because he decided to apply for the vacant coaching position and he felt the need to resign from his post and we have accepted his resignation in good faith,” Aidoo told Happy FM.
Now the Phobian are back in the market in search of a new goalkeepers trainer and according to local media reports, Hearts of Oak have opened up talks with former national shot stopper, Abubakari Damba as a possible replacement.
