Liberty youngster Latif Blessing eulogizes ex national star Charles Taylor
Liberty Professionals winger, Latif Blessing has eulogized the football qualties of Ex Hearts of Oak/Kotoko attacker Charles Taylor adding that the 32 year old Ex international has been his mentor.
The 17 year old winger was one of the young talents in the just ended Ghana premier league as he tormented most of the defenders with his dazzling skills and pace.
Latif in the just ended season will be best remembered in his side’s 3-1 win over Asante Kotoko at the Dansoman Park in a premier league game. The former Asante Kotoko trialist was the reason for the Porcupine Warriors downfall as he scored and assisted in that game.
Despite his creative play, Latif Blessing has eulogized the play qualities of Ex Hearts of Oak star man Charles Taylor who has now been ordained as a Pastor.
“I must say since I started playing football Charles Taylor has been my mentor, when he was playing I use to watch him a lot and he was a fantastic player, sometimes I call on him for advice which has helped me in my playing career and I thank him for that,” Latif Blessing told Hot FM.
Due to Latif Blessing’s impressive performance in the just ended league, the young winger has been on the wish list of clubs like the newly crowned champions, Ashgold, Hearts of Oak and Kotoko but the 17 year old winger says he will be going nowhere.
“I know clubs want me but I want to promise Liberty Professionals fans that I will be going nowhere next season they will see me in Liberty colours and I will do more than what I did in the just ended season, what I want from the fans is their prayers and supports,” he added.
Liberty Professionals placed 5th with 43 points at the end of the 2014/15 league season.
