As part of Government’s commitment to build a better Ghana through Science and Technology and Innovation, the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology with the support and collaboration of Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Communication and the GETFUND, has been distributing Free Laptops to students and schools.
These laptops are assembled in Ghana under theBetter Ghana ICT Project.
All beneficiaries listed below are to converge at the Accra International Conference Centre from 10am on Thursday, November 22, 2012 or contact the rlg offices in your respective regional capitals with valid ID cards for collection of the Laptops.
Please note that the Laptops are not for sale.

it is a good project the government has undertaken but it seems to be on partisan bases because some of us has applied for long but has not seen our names. i will like to ask that is there any hope for brilliant but needy tertiary student like us ?
normally they select the good letters.so if you know yours did not go on well,you can apply for it again

The Government has really done well in his policy of investing in people and We Ghanaian have appreciated what the Government are doing. Some people are of the view that, the distribution is partisan. Please it is not true, The selection depend on best applicant and luck. After making several attempts to apply on 0ctober 29 2011 and 7 December, 2011, I was not fortunate to be among the benficiries awarded, I gave the address to my friend at Winneba campus who apply and fortunately had one. Today 30th Nov. 2012, I am re-applying for the third time to see if I would be among the fortunate. We Thank The Government for His Father for All Policy and I hope gradually Everyone would have his/her share of the national cake

The ministry and the rlg company shall be sharing the laptops to S.H.S students on Wednesday 05/12/2012.what you have to do is just to be available at the rlg office with your national identification card (voters I.D)so as to be able to get yours.
